Connecting Our Community to the Classroom
The Greenfield Central School Foundation Educational Enrichment (E²) Grants are intended to support programs/projects provided by G-C staff within the classroom or in an after-school setting which focus on innovative ways to enhance student learning and achievement.
Growing our grant program was one of the first initiatives the Greenfield Central School Foundation focused on in order to meet our mission of CONNECTING OUR COMMUNITY TO THE CLASSROOM. We applaud our teachers who continue to provide creative and resourceful programs through these grants and we look forward to sharing their grant stories with you.
Applications for the 2019-20 School year are due by 4 p.m. Friday April 19, 2019.
The GCSF Educational Enrichment (E²) Grants benefit students, teachers and schools within the Greenfield-Central Community School Corporation. E² Grants are intended to support programs/projects provided by G-C staff within the classroom or in an after school setting which focus on innovative ways to enhance student learning and achievement. The GCSF mission is: Connecting The Community To The Classroom.
E² Grant Criteria:
- Creates opportunities for student learning and achievement.
- Uses innovative approaches to program/project.
- Number of students involved and/or impacted by program/project.
- Attainable goals and outcomes for all targeted students.
It is recommended that grant requests be in the funding range of $300 to $700; however, GCSF will evaluate the merit of each request as submitted. All applications must be complete, including a detailed budget and supporting documentation of costs. Incentives, including prizes and food, can only be 10% or less of the total grant request. Grants cannot reimburse for costs previously incurred. All grant funds will be distributed using the G-CCSC purchase order process. Applications are available online CLICK HERE. Persons receiving E² Grants will be expected to mention the Greenfield Central School Foundation in all publicity concerning their grant. Final Grant Reports must be completed and forwarded to the GCSF Executive Director at the conclusion of the school year in order to qualify for future GCSF grants. Grant recipients must notify the GCSF Executive Director as soon as possible if more than 50% of the grant award will not be spent or the recipient may be ineligible for future grants.
Applications are due by 4 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2019, for the 2019-20 school year.
2019-20 grants will be selected and announced in May 2019 with payment to the central office in August 2019.
